Early on, through my apprenticeship and vocation as a waiter in Zurich, I had the opportunity to admire exclusivity on the wrists of my guests. After a short period of time, however, conventional models became too ordinary and my interest in more uncommon watches was sparked. My first great ticking affection was a Qlocktwo in Bernese German. The clock has no hands, but it shows the time by illuminating words that form the sentence: "Es isch füf ab haubi eufi" (It is five after half past eleven).
In pursuit of more charmingly atypical watches, the teenage interest developed into a real passion. From iconic watches like the Mondaine Swiss Railway Station Clock, wooden watches from Austria, or established atypical timepieces like the Reverso from JLC, I strive to find the perfect combination of deviant and ravishing for the wrist.
With Gentleman-Watches we have set ourselves the target to awaken an interest for watches in you or to ignite a flaming passion out of the existing curiosity.
